Rooted in her Egyptian heritage and now based in the U.S., Gamila Elshobary (also known as Mila) is an artist who paints from the soul outward. She began creating as a way to process grief, trauma, and the silence that words couldn’t carry. What started as a personal refuge has become a visual language, one that speaks to healing, remembrance, and awakening.

Her work is layered with energy, frequency, and emotion. Drawing from ancient Egyptian symbolism and infused with Arabic calligraphy, her paintings carry hidden messages about self-love, duality, letting go of fear, and staying in the light.

Her recent commissioned piece, titled "Lightkeeper," was created for a therapist’s office and described as “beyond imagination.” The artwork brought warmth, color, and healing energy to the space, affirming her mission to create art that transforms and uplifts.
